Artigot Catering was part of the first 2026 FORMULA 1 TAG HEUER SPANISH GRAND PRIX held in Madrid, creating the dining experience at the Ignition Club alongside MATCH Hospitality, the exclusive provider of Official Hospitality for MADRING.
Madrid hosted its first-ever Formula 1 weekend. Over the course of three days, the 2026 FORMULA 1 TAG HEUER SPANISH GRAND PRIX transformed the city into the setting for an event that brought together competition, entertainment, cuisine, and hospitality.
For Artigot, taking part in this inaugural Grand Prix as part of the Ignition Club meant participating in one of the largest events held in Madrid in 2026.
Artigot at Ignition Club during the first F1 Grand Prix in Madrid
Artigot's participation took place at Ignition Club, one of the hospitality venues affiliated with MADRING.
In collaboration with MATCH Hospitality, the exclusive provider of MADRING’s Official Hospitality, Artigot developed the venue’s dining experience during the three days of the Grand Prix.
The proposal was designed for an international setting and for an audience seeking much more than just attending the competition: a hospitality experience in which cuisine, service, and the venue are all part of the same experience.
More than 3,500 guests and 165 professionals
Over the course of the three days, more than 3,500 guests visited Ignition Club and enjoyed an international culinary experience.
To make this possible, 165 Artigot professionals participated in the project.
The scale of the event required specific preparation and constant coordination among the various teams involved. This work began a year before the Grand Prix and included meetings, planning, and preparation of every detail of the experience.
The challenge was to arrive at the first Formula 1 Grand Prix in Madrid with a team ready to meet the hospitality needs of an event of this nature.
A year's worth of work behind three days
At large events, much of the work that determines the outcome takes place before the first guest arrives.
For this project, Artigot spent a year developing the dining experience at Ignition Club.
Planning, meetings, coordination, and preparation gradually took shape as a project that ultimately spanned three days and involved 165 professionals.
The goal was to provide a refined dining experience and maintain the same high standard of service throughout the Grand Prix.
A 5-out-of-5 rating from the customer
The client rated the project's outcome 5 out of 5.
We are proud to receive this recognition, and at the same time, it motivates us to continue learning, improving, and growing.
Because behind every service there is much more than what the guest sees: there are people, teamwork, dedication, and many hours of preparation.
At an event like this, the overall experience is the result of the combined efforts of many professionals and months of coordinated work.
Gastronomy and Hospitality at the First MADRING
Madrid's first Formula 1 Grand Prix has provided a new setting for the city's culinary scene and hospitality industry during major events.
For Artigot, having been part of this first edition as a member of Ignition Club represents an opportunity to participate in an event that is already part of Madrid's history.
Thank you to MATCH Hospitality for their trust, and to the entire Artigot team for making this project possible.
The first MADRING is now part of history. And we're proud to have been a part of it.
